Gov. Abbott’s Plan B Remark is ‘Tone Deaf’ Solution for Rape, Incest Victims to Prevent Pregnancy, Says HCDP Chair

Gov. Abbott’s Plan B Remark is ‘Tone Deaf’

In defending the state’s draconian abortion laws last week, Texas Gov. Abbott said emergency contraception is the solution for rape and incest victims to prevent pregnancy — a statement that “demonstrates remarkable cruelty and absolute fantasy on the part of Texas’ current leader,” said Harris County Democratic Chair Odus Evbagharu.

"Gov. Abbott's statement is both tone deaf and cruel and yet another example of how disconnected he is from the issues facing everyday Texans."

Precinct Chair Corner

Precinct Chair Corner

Need information about another precinct chair, or want to know which precincts are adjacent to each other? You can do that through the Precinct Chair Portal.

The portal can be accessed by going to www.precinctprogress.com. It does NOT use your VAN userid, but rather has its own userid and password.

Every precinct chair has an account. If you do not know your userid and password, the best way to find out this information is to click on “Forgot Userid/Password” after you click on “Log on”.  You will receive an email back with your userid and a temporary password.

After you get logged on, the precinct chair directory can be found on the left side of the first page. When you click on one of the radius options, you will receive a map of the precincts that surround the precinct you are viewing.

For assistance, please email PC-PortalAdmins@HarrisDemocrats.com
