Last Day To Register To Vote
The last day to register to vote for the Texas Democratic Primary Runoff Election is Monday, June 15, 2020. To be eligible to register to vote in Harris County, one must:
- Be 17 years and 10 months old, and 18 years or older on Election Day
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be a resident in Harris County
- Have not been convicted of a felony (you may be eligible to vote if you have completed your sentence, probation, and parole)

Voting By Mail
Eligible voters who are 65 years of age or older, disabled, out of the county, or confined in jail (without an active felony conviction) can request a vote by mail application before Thursday, July 2, 2020 (received, not postmarked). The vote by mail eligibility is an issue in an ongoing lawsuit. You can request a vote by mail application by clicking here.
