A Message from the Chair
Hello Democrats!

It is an honor to lead the largest county in Texas and third largest in the nation on the road to turning Texas Blue! Harris County is one of the most diverse places in the world and is home to more people than nearly 30 states. Where Harris County goes, Texas goes. And where Texas goes, the country goes. It is our responsibility to lead the most powerful county in the most important swing state with the focus, firepower, and infrastructure to dominate.

I did not run for this role to maintain the status quo. We have so much talent in this county, and when we coordinate across the full Democratic ecosystem, maximize our resources, and relentlessly focus on turning out our base, we can build a system that wins elections every single cycle. I don’t believe in slogans without strategy, or energy without execution. What I believe in is doing the work: building the infrastructure that puts Democratic candidates in a position to win, and building the relationships that make people proud to call themselves part of this party.

That means investing in our precinct chairs, the neighbors and volunteers who are the backbone of everything we do. It means financial transparency and operational accountability at every level. It means listening to the communities we serve before we ask for their votes. And it means being honest about where we have fallen short, so we can build something better together.

Whether you have been a Democratic activist for decades or you are visiting this page for the first time, I want you to know: there is a place for you here. We are building a party that is open, organized, and ready, not just for the next election, but for the long work of making Harris County a place where every resident has a real shot at a good life.
