HCDP Club Application

Thank you for considering becoming an official HCDP Club or Organization. Before you complete this application, please make sure you have met all the criteria below.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Must adhere to the Texas Democratic Party and Harris County Democratic Party rules and by-laws

2. Must be a recognized PAC with the Texas Ethics Commission

3. Must meet regularly, at a minimum of once per quarter.

4. Must have a slate of elected officers and a designated PAC treasurer.

5. Must have dues paying membership of a minimum of 20 members.

6. Must affix the HCDP Clubs and Organizations logo to club website.

7. Each year, clubs and organizations should do one of the following:

*Minimum of 5% of members with sustaining HCDP membership.

or

*Sponsor a table at the Johnson Jackson Lee Richards Dinner.

or

*Pay a club supporting sustaining membership of $500 a year

or

*Have members volunteer as representatives of the club a minimum of 50 hours at party headquarters or at a party activity as requested by the party.

8. Promote membership in the party and Democratic activism.

9. Must have established bylaws or a constitution to which the club/organization adheres.
